About

Born in Caserta in 1983 into a family of musicians, Luca started on flute at five, moved to drums and bass, and at fourteen chose the electric guitar.

Almost entirely self-taught, he later studied with Adriano Guarino and Marco Sfogli, and classical guitar with maestro Antonio De Innocentis. He listens to everything from metal to jazz: his references include Biréli Lagrène, Pat Martino, Robben Ford, Frank Gambale, Eddie Van Halen, Michael Brecker, Oscar Peterson and Gary Burton. His trademark is a flowing legato in the service of melodic phrasing.
